CJPN 90.5 FM Radio

The mission of CJPN 90.5 FM is to promote the development of the Acadian cultural identity. The radio station informs, entertains and brings together the Francophone community of the Greater Fredericton Area. In 1997, CJPN, (Radio-Fredericton at the time) goes on air for the very first time. Between 1990 and 1997, Radio-Fredericton took a lot of different steps to establish itself, and finally, on August 22, 1997, CJPN Radio officially opened. To survive, in 2005, CJPN had to organize a draw with art pieces from well-known artists from the province.

3 community radio stations, CJPN, CHQC and CKMA, continue to collaborate together and support each other. Today, CJPN is the only French radio station in the capital!
