The Festival de théâtre jeunesse in Acadie

At the end of April, for three days, eight extracurricular theater groups participate in the Caraquet Youth Theater Festival.
The Festival de theatre jeunesse en Acadie (FTJA) is the key youth activity of the Théâtre populaire d'Acadie, for all the young theater lovers from Grades 6 to 12.

The festival features performances of extracurricular plays by participating schools, workshops by professional artists, and friendly gatherings of young people from across the province.
Three established performing artists are also chosen annually as evaluators, assisting at all performances and subsequently providing constructive feedback to the troops.
