L’Alliance Jeunesse -Famille de l’Alberta Society
L’Alliance Jeunesse-Famille de l’Alberta Society (AJFAS) was founded on December 22, 1999, and was officially released on February 24, 2000, at the Cité Francophone in Edmonton, Alberta.
AJFAS is a francophone non-profit organization that works in the fields of education and crime prevention with youth and Francophone families of immigrant origin in Alberta through social development programs. She also works actively with different communities to promote Canadian cultural diversity.
AJFAS is a unique alliance between Francophone youth and Francophone families of ethnocultural origin, in collaboration with the three levels of government, volunteers, Francophonie community stakeholders, international organizations, primary, secondary and higher education institutions. the Francophonie of Alberta, Francophone and Anglophone organizations committed to the cause of the rights and obligations of young people and immigrant women. AJFAS is an organization that promotes harmony, security, acceptance, social cohesion and appreciation of difference.
After 20 years of existence, AJFAS has accomplished a great job and has expanded its activities and areas of intervention to meet the growing needs of francophone ethnocultural families coming to Alberta.
