FrancoQueer
FrancoQueer is the association of gay, lesbian, bisexual, two-spirit, transsexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual and their allies (LGBTQIA) francophones in Toronto and Ontario. Founded in 2006 and duly registered as a non-profit organization in Ontario, FrancoQueer is the only association by and for Francophone LGBTQIA in the province. The association offers activities, services and programs to celebrate our diversity in a French-speaking atmosphere. Take part in the bilingual Café! Those discussion groups in French and English aim to promote exchanges, discovery and mutual understanding between the LGBTQIA French and English speaking communities. The discussion groups are led by a volunteer coordinator. Each meeting: a new topic for discussion, new connections. Consult the calendar of meetings on Facebook or Meetup.. FrancoQueer also organizes the Francofierté festival in June in Toronto.
