Les Auvergnois Ponteix-The Centre Cultural Royer

The organization "Les Auvergnois Ponteix, Inc." accomplishes its mission and mandate by providing services, programs and products to Francophones in the Ponteix District in Canada's two official languages.
The Centre Cultural Royer, by its name, celebrates a man called Abbé Royer, the founder of the parish of Ponteix. This gathering, celebrating, socializing and educating place joined both French and English people. "Les Auvergnois de Ponteix" makes it possible to keep alive the heritage of the past, to forge ties with it by archiving documents, donated by the citizens of Ponteix. Thus, the community can face the future, by promoting bilingualism and by creating accessible premises for groups wishing to organize social gatherings!
