Our Lady of Assumption Co-Cathedral
The Co-Cathedral Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Gravelbourg is a cathedral of the Archdiocese of Regina in Saskatchewan (Canada). The cathedral became a co-cathedral in 1998 with the merger of the diocese of Gravelbourg with that of Regina.
The cathedral was designated a municipal heritage property by the city of Gravelbourg on March 26, 19871. In 1995, it was included in the Gravelbourg National Historic Site of Religious Institutions with the Convent of Jesus Mary and the Bishop's Residence.
The beautiful stained glass windows of the priest-artist Monseigneur Charles Maillard are religious teachings with warm and vibrant colours that give a new light to the Co-Cathedral!
