The Francophone Youth Parliament of British Columbia

The Francophone Youth Parliament of British Columbia is a parliamentary simulation that brings together 115 participants aged 14 to 25 from across British Columbia in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
For 3 days, youth are immersed in the reality of Canadian politics. While MPs and ministers discuss issues of society that directly affect Franco-Columbian youth, a team of journalists carefully listens to parliamentary discussions to bring them back to the rest of the population via the press and the radio.
The citizen action group discusses draft laws and citizen engagement in order to develop critical thinking.
All participants have the same objective: to participate in the democratic process of British Columbia.
