The Montreal Book Fair

The Montreal Book Fair is an annual, public event with the objectives of promoting reading by promoting public contact with regional, national and international editorial productions and its artisans. In addition, it promotes professional contacts between publishers, booksellers and librarians.

Around a community of book lovers and aspiring readers, the role of the Montreal Book Fair is to:
-Promote books and the pleasure of reading as cultural property in Quebec society;
-Gather and mobilize the professional book community and Quebec readers;
-To discover and radiate the diversity of regional, national and international editorial production, as well as its creators and artisans;
-To offer places to promote the creation, exchange, sharing and debate around the issues of our society.
