Storytelling on the Path to Peace

Now in its 13th year in 2018, the Festival features regional, national, and international tellers, and encompasses a School Program and Public Events.

Activities include:

• French storytelling
• Indigenous storytelling
• Deaf storytelling
• Human Rights Storytelling
• Storytelling and peacemaking workshops
• Puppetry

The Festival’s goals are to:

• nurture the art of storytelling in Winnipeg
• explore and promote storytelling for peacemaking
• develop youth voice as a critical skill for democracy, global citizenship, peacemaking, and establishing and maintaining human rights and social justice.
