Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)

The Royal Ontario Museum ( ROM ) is located in Downtown Toronto and is among the world’s leading museums of natural history and world cultures. In combining a universal museum of cultures with that of natural history, the ROM offers an unusual breadth of experience to audiences from around the world. Nature and humanity are intertwined, and the ROM offers many examples in its collections and programs of these fundamental relationships.

Services:

Camps

The Royal Ontario Museum offers camp for children age 5 – 14 for a full day. Their camp programs provides supervised educational activities, art projects, science experiments, and more!  Registration is required.  Camps are offered on PA Days, March Break and in the summer. Programs

Want more ROM? Go beyond artifacts and experience the ROM with special events and programming for those who want to know more. They offer interactive children's programs for all ages throughout the year. Programs are FUN and interactive highlighting learning and special themes. Field Trips

Connect your students to original objects from human history and specimens from the natural world through a guided tour of the ROM's comprehensive galleries led by our experienced educators.  Touch real objects and specimens from our teaching collection and engage in a multi-sensory experience in our hands-on labs.  Students are encouraged to exercise their critical thinking and communication skills, and to collaborate in groups to exercise all their senses. French tours are available at your request and subject to availability.
