Loisirs au Soleil

Since 1982, Loisirs au Soleil has operated a highly regarded French summer day camp in Mississauga for francophone and French immersion children. The non-profit organization is directed by volunteer parents in affiliation with the Mississauga Recreation and Parks Department.

Camp programs are imaginative, creative and set in a fun, relaxed, yet challenging atmosphere. Activities include: crafts, music, hikes, games, swimming and outings at no extra cost. The camp focus, is “Fun in French” for children from 5-12 years of age. Counsellors are carefully screened, trained, fluent in French and speak French at all times.

Camp participants of Loisirs au Soleil camp d'été francophone must have completed one year of full time French instruction or 3 years of extended French prior to camp start date.
