Discovery Centre at Downsview Park

The Discovery Centre is an established outdoor education centre in Downsview Park, one of the largest urban parks in Toronto. Each year we welcome almost 20 000 students, teachers, community groups and families from across the province to our programs that focus on sustainability – how people today can live in a way to ensure that there is wellbeing for all, forever. Our school programs and virtual field trips combine interactive lessons and fun recreational activities; they are designed to support the Ontario curriculum. The Discovery Centre’s community field trips, geared to groups like daycares, camps, birthday parties and large family outings, provide participants of all ages with exciting hands-on opportunities to engage with the natural world!
