The goal of the Granby International Song Festival is to discover, develop and promote the next generation of Francophone song from here and abroad.
The Granby International Song Festival (FICG) presents the 51st edition of its competition this year in 2019! The last 50 years have seen Luc de Larochellière, Sylvie Bernard, Luce Dufault, Lynda Lemay, Marie-Jo Thério, Nelson Minville, Mario Chenart, Terez Montcalm, Isabelle Boulay, Nancy Dumais, Manon Brunet, Véronic DiCaire, Genevieve. Bilodeau, Jean-François Breau, Nicolas Lelièvre, Dumas, Tomas Jensen, Jeanne Cherhal, Kain, Ginette, Pierre Lapointe, Damien Robitaille, Brigitte St-Aubin, Émily Loizeau, Alexandre Desilets, Joce, Alex Nevsky and many others. Over forty years to discover, train and promote the new talents of the Quebec and Canadian song with the results that we know today.
The FICG competition is the largest French-language song contest in North America. Over the last 50 years, Jean Leloup, Émile Bilodeau, Lisa LeBlanc, Alex Nevsky, Philippe Brach, Patrice Michaud, Karim Ouellet, Dédé Fortin and many others have appeared on stage. So many years to discover, develop and promote the new talents of the Quebec and Canadian song with the results that we know today.
The FICG offers different sections for Francophone song artists of all ages, from 6 to 18 years old and over!
