Jeunesse Franco-Yukon

The Comité Espoir Jeunesse, now Jeunesse Franco-Yukon (JeFY) was formed in 1995 by a group of young Francophones who wanted to get involved in the development of the community. The same enthusiasm can still be seen. The CEJ makes an essential contribution to the enduring vitality of the community and the committee promises to remain front and center for a long time.

On the Jeunesse Franco-Yukon logo, we see a sun rising behind the "JeFY" mountain, which represents the nature and wide-open spaces of the Yukon.
Youth is represented by a character who has just crossed the summit of the mountain, which symbolizes the dynamism of young people to conquer the world!

As for the spherical shape of the logo, it represents the continuity and survival of the French language, which is reinforced by the fact that the character stands on the letter "F" of Jefy, to put the accent on the Francophone identity.

This logo was created by the graphic artist, Maxime Deschesnes, and was inspired by the works of some 20 young Francophones and Francophiles who shared what Yukon's Francophone youth symbolizes for them.
