The International Festival of Puppetry Arts in Saguenay

Founded in 1989, the International Festival of Puppetry Arts in Saguenay is an all-public event whose impact is significant on the development of theatre and puppetry.

This is the only major event in theatre, in Quebec, to take place in the region. It has a national and international reputation that is distinguished by the quality of its programming, the richness of the exchanges it offers, not to mention the warmth of its welcome.

In addition to presenting national and international shows, the Festival is a place of exchange for professionals through activities to re-energize the creators of the puppetry arts sector: seminars, conferences, round tables, specialized workshops, thematic evenings, etc.

The objective of the Festival team is to offer the public a festive event that brings together people of all ages around the puppetry arts!
